To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we've doubled our Bill Buster Competition prize pool for this year, with over $40,000 to share with eight lucky Protect members.
It's our favourite time of year when we open the gates to our Bill Bu$ter competition giving you the best odds around of winning some cold hard cash. And to acknowledge our 25 years of service, we have a bigger prize pool, more chances to win and the easiest entry method possible.
One lucky winner will take out the big one, a cool $20k. We're also dishing out seven lots of $3k across regions, so wherever you're based you have a solid shot.

That’s it. Your message can be as simple as you like, you don't even have to spell it right, because we’re drawing winners at random. Just get it in before the deadline.
The fine print
Winners will be announced on our Instagram @protectmembers on 16 October 2025. Give us a follow and keep your eyes peeled.
Just one entry from current Protect members over 18 years sent via the App will be valid.
Minor prize winners are also eligible for the main prize.
Prizes are in Aussie dollars.

Select the link to reset your password
You can use the 'forgotten password' feature on the App or via the workers portal to reset your password.
- Select the 'forgot password' link.
- Enter your membership number or the email address we have on file for you.
- For security purposes you will be sent a verification code if using the App. Enter the code when directed and you may then reset your password. If you're using the workers portal you will be sent a link to complete the update process.
Having trouble?
If you don't know your membership number, or we do not have your correct contact details, you will not be able to make use of the 'forgot password' feature on either the Protect App or workers portal. Instead, please email or use the 'contact us form' to request access to your online account.
At the 'Me' tab
To update your contacts:
- Log in to the App
- Navigate to the 'me' tab at the bottom right of screen
- Select ' Contact Details'
- Update as required
It's moved - now on the home screen
We've updated the App and moved the ‘Feedback’ option so it's front and square on the home screen bottom menu.
